What types of pets do you care for?

We board small dogs. 

Cats, larger dogs, and other types of animals can be cared for in their own homes with “drop in” visits.

What services do you offer?

We offer boarding for small dogs, daycare for small dogs, drop in visits for all types of animals, as well as walks for dogs. 

​

How long are your visits or walks?

Visits and walks are typically 20-40 minutes but can last longer depending on the needs of the pet(s).

Do you offer same-day or last-minute bookings?

Yes, for established clients, when available.  

Services are provided on a first-come-first-serve basis. New clients usually need to make their first request a minimum of 3-4 days ahead of time.

Are you available on holidays?

Yes. We are open on all holidays.  There are no extra fees for holiday services but tend to fill up fast

Dog Walking Specific

What happens if the weather is bad (heat, storms, cold)?

Safety is our first concern. As long as it is safe, a walk is provided so that your dog can relieve themselves.  Days over 85 degrees are considered “potty walk only” as hot pavement can injure your pet

Will my dog be walked alone or with other dogs?

Walks are completed one household at a time.  

    

Do you provide updates or photos after each walk?

We love to keep you updated on your pet! Updates are provided via text message and if a photo or video is obtained, that can be shared with the client as well.

In-Home Pet Sitting

 

What does a typical drop-in visit include?

Food, water, potty break/walk, playtime, any medications, cleaning of litter boxes, pet dishes and any accidents and a text or email to the client with an update.

Can you administer medications (oral, injections, etc.)?

All types of medications can be administered at no extra charge

 

 

How do you handle emergencies while I’m away?

You will be the first one contacted. If you cannot be reached in a reasonable amount of time, the intake form you filled out at our meet and greet will have your veterinarian and emergency contact. If your emergency contact and vet are not available or unable to help, the emergency will be handled in the way we would want our own pet/household cared for, given a similar situation.

Will you also bring in mail, water plants, or adjust lights?

Yes. All of that. Make your list!

Boarding Specific

How many dogs do you take for boarding at one time?

5 maximum, including my own. A very small group, so it always stays fun and safe

Are dogs crated or free-roaming when they are boarded?

We have crates, for the purpose of separating for feeding. We also utilize gates between rooms if separation for safety is necessary. Otherwise, the dogs are free-roaming. 

    

How do payments work? (Deposit? Monthly invoices? Online payment?)

For boarding and home visits, we generally ask for payment at drop-off,  but never want anyone’s trip to be stressed, financially. Visits or daycare that is taking place on a regular basis can be paid on a weekly or monthly basis. 

You can request to split it up however makes you comfortable. 

We take most forms of payment except Zelle. We can accept Cash, check, credit card (in person. transaction fee applies), PayPal, Apple Pay, Cash App, and Venmo 

 

Can we schedule a meet-and-greet before booking?

Yes. This is free, and must occur before our first booking
